Bonfire and Marshmallows

With bonfire night falling on a Monday, what better excuse could there be for having a small bonfire and toasting marshmallows? So this is exactly what we all did together in the afternoon.

With the morning spent in the garden and in the usual sessions completing the work that is usually done on Monday, lunch was had and then a short break to the day was placed in the afternoon to enjoy a sweet treat around the brazier. Wood had been chopped and prepared and the fire lit, staff supported everyone to safely toast and enjoy marshmallows around the fire, and along with watching the embers, it was amount to look at the garden and think about everyones achievements I’m maintaining the garden over the summer.

Now that Bonfire night celebrations are over our attention in now on preparing for our winter fair on Sunday 9th December from 1.30, we hope you will be able to jin us for seasonal celebrations, produce and gifts.
